HiMandarin is a leading Mandarin Chinese teaching school in the San Francisco Bay Area that is dedicated to teaching Mandarin Chinese and offering a wide variety of Mandarin language programs for children, adults, students, businesses, and organizations.
HiMandarin Chinese School (Bay Area Chapter) was founded by two experienced Mandarin teachers who believe that any language study could be, and should be, fun and useful at the same time. Mandarin is especially so because of the culture, wisdom, utility, and logic collectively and continuously influencing, or better, shaping, it. However, mandarin learning could be challenging and frustrating to someone who is motivated yet lacks good mentoring. This is exactly where HiMandarin steps in, to guide you in a way that makes the whole process entertaining, smooth, efficient, and rewarding. Everyone comes to learn mandarin for different reasons, and we want to make sure those needs be satisfied as best as they could be. Indeed, there is a strong benefit, if not a necessity, to learn and understand mandarin - not just out of sheer curiosity or interest, but to more intelligent, more competitive, and to be in the lead, if you will.
HiMandarin was originally founded in 2006 by a group of teaching professionals in Shanghai who were passionate in promoting the Chinese language and culture in a more meaningful way. It started out as one small office, and expanded to five locations within two years. HiMandarin has led more than 500 students with different backgrounds and across different professions to achieve their goals and to fulfill their interests. Co-founder Amior moved to the U.S. in 2010, and HiMandarin has come to Berkeley, serving the San Francisco Bay Area.
